I am Beatrice

As a child, I dreamed of working for NASA and flying to the moon. I was an alert, curious girl. Building huts and playing with dolls complemented each other – my bedroom wallpaper was full of space shuttles and aeroplanes.

My journey

There have been people in my life who have shaped me and made me the person I am today.

There was my free-spirited artist father, my Rhineland down-to-earth mother and my sensitive, nature-loving grandmother Maria.

This woman taught me that more is possible between heaven and earth than we think.

There were the great nuns at the half-day boarding school of the Archbishop's Marienberg Grammar School, who had their hearts in the right place. They saw and encouraged us children beyond our school grades.

And there was also Carl-Heinrich Cruse, my then superior at the company RWE – today you would call him an agile leader – who was my mentor and gave me the freedom to organise my own approach to my work and projects.

On my further professional path at innogy SE, board members, senior executives and committee staff encouraged and supported me in implementing internal coaching in the company internationally. We worked together on this goal of bringing this vision to life!

All these important people to me encouraged my potential and helped me grow as a person, even beyond qualifications!

„There is a crack in everything, thats how the light gets in.“

 - Leonard Cohen

Then, in 2019, came the break. I suffered a bad fall and for the first time in my life I experienced what it means to become immobile for a long time from one day to the next. I was unable to walk for several months, yet intuitively I refused any surgery. Instead, I decided to study neuroscience and neuroplasticity.

During this time, I came across a book about Kintsugi, a traditional Japanese method of repairing ceramics, in which breaks in vessels are carefully repaired with fine gold leaf, so that the break is enhanced. I was convinced that what applies to ceramic vessels can also be applied to my healing process.

„When you are clear about what you really want and you connect this thought with a deeper emotion, you move into a new reality.“

Dr. Joe Dispenza

I read books by the renowned German neurobiologist and brain researcher Dr Gerald Hüther, learned brain and heart coherence meditation and meditated daily for several months. While I was still in the healing process, I decided to leave my job at the company to start my own business.

I learned to live with the unknown and the seemingly irreconcilable, and later on to love this uncertain state and even feel comfortable in it.

When I am asked what I believe was the key to my recovery, I answer: „It was the intention!'' The more clearly and detailed the intention is formulated, the more likely it is that what you desire will come about. And that applies to all areas of life, in our private lives as well as in business. And it is the belief in yourself, your own abilities, perseverance, courage and the confidence that everything we need to live and that strengthens us lies within ourselves: from the very beginning, at all times and in each of us!

I am passionate about unlocking this potential in people and companies!

LIFE CALLED ME!

I took some time off after 34 years of working. I travelled across Europe for a long time, meeting and coaching people with their different personal stories on these journeys. The experience that everything I need for my life right now comes to me when I remain curious, trusting, calm and open has honed my already very well-developed resilience. I learned what it means to rely even more on my intuition and to experience myself as part of the greater whole. My strategic thinking skills and this ability were not mutually exclusive; on the contrary, they strengthened each other.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN IN-DEPTH, EXPERIENCE-BASED INSIGHT INTO LIFE

This time out has enriched my skills profile as a coach with the ability to develop a more organic resilience to realise my potential, and I decided to found Creative Business Coaching in Essen, a place full of creativity, expertise and inspiration.

MAKING PEOPLE GREAT

It is of great importance to me to help people and companies achieve greatness in order to realise their full potential. My view of humanity is humanistic. Every person is unique and makes a meaningful contribution to creating something even greater!

My values and beliefs

Benevolence and a resource-promoting attitude

Everything is possible – think and feel big and see what happens!

We are all here to grow and to make the world a little bit better. You have influence!

As a coach, it is especially important to me that I treat each client with neutrality and a benevolent, strengthening and resource-promoting attitude, with the utmost respect for their own life story and on an equal footing. The principle of confidence guides me.

To make people and organisations great requires thinking and, above all, feeling big, and also quiet reflection. Surprisingly great things happen in a personally familiar, natural environment, where the senses and the mind are addressed on a different, non-cognitive level!

I always try to align my words and actions and to be a living role model for my clients, supporting them in their creative power and self-determination.

Important sources and inspiration for my work

I am fascinated by everything that is possible through the mental alignment and strength of formulating clear intentions. This includes influences from the field of neuroscience,

neuroplasticity, meditation, yoga, quantum healing, healing energetics, nonviolent communication, as well as intensive study of the healing field as the undamaged place within the human being.

What I love and enjoy

I love

...cows, sitting in a meadow among them makes my heart beat faster.

...flying, the eagle's eye view.

...meditating and painting.

...gemstones.

...nature with all its wondrous creations.

...people, their diversity, their rich facets.

...the sea, the rivers with their energetic currents.

...hearts in the form of stones, shells, tree leaves in nature

...the teachings of Hildegard von Bingen.

...plants and medicinal herbs

...exuberant dancing.

...meditatively powerful endurance swimming.

...healthy food and clean water.

...going unknown, untrodden paths.

...travelling with little in your luggage.

...deep beauty and heart quality - beyond matter and appearance.
